Orders ship out within 1-3 business days after being placed. Once an order is shipped out, you will receive a shipping confirmation email along with tracking information. Please note that orders ship out on weekdays only. If you’re concerned about shipping lead times, please email us before placing your order.

Please be sure the address entered at checkout is correct before placing your order. If there is an error, please contact us immediately to update the address.

Once an order has shipped out, it is in the care of the shipping carrier and Tunitas is not liable for any errors made by these services. Any claims of lost, stolen or damaged packages should be directed to the shipping company. But we can help provide any information to support your claim.

Domestic Orders:
Orders shipped within the United States are through USPS Priority Mail. Priority Mail will generally take anywhere from 1-3 days depending on shipping address location. All prices will be calculated at checkout.

International Orders:
*Please note that during this global Covid pandemic, international shipments can take longer than usual to be delivered.*

International orders will ship via USPS or UPS. Orders under 1.4lbs will ship for a flat $20 rate. Any order above 1.4lbs will ship for a flat $30 rate.

Please note that international orders are often subjected to duties and taxes by the importing country and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay these fees. To learn more about your country’s taxation rates, contact your local customs office.

Product Availability

Majority of our bags are in stock and ready to ship. Bags are made in batches and inventory of it will be uploaded to the website when they are available. If a product variant is out of stock, it will be replenished within 1-3 weeks.

Please note that the Basket Bag 139 and Basket Pack are Made to Order only and require a 7-14 business day lead time after order is placed. Once the bag is ready to ship, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email.

Local Pickup

We offer free pickup from our studio space in the Mission District in San Francisco. At checkout simply select “Local Pickup”.

Once your order is ready, you’ll be contacted via email and we will schedule out a time that will work for both of us to have you come by and collect your order. Please be sure to use an email that you can be contacted at and to check your spam folder after a couple of days if you do not hear from us.

**Please note local pickup is for those who can physically pick it up from our studio space. Please do not choose those options at checkout if you do not qualify. Your order will be delayed and or cancelled until a payment is received for shipment.**

Return Policy

As of right now, we cannot offer any returns or refunds on orders. If you have any questions on the products, please feel free to reach out before ordering.


Any bags we deem as a manufacturer's defect, we’ll replace or repair free of charge.

Bags facing normal wear and tear, or any other damage from use, we’ll gladly repair for a small fee. We’d rather see our bags get new life rather than tossing it into landfills.

For exterior fabrics we use Cordura and X10 Cotton Xpac. Fabric used will be noted on each bag’s product page. All bags are lined with a silver 420D Nylon Packcloth. The packcloth is lightweight and durable. Using the silver color helps to be able to see items in the bag and not become a ‘black hole’ should the lining be a darker color.

While Cordura is a highly water resistant fabric, the X10 Cotton Xpac is waterproof. But that does not mean the bag itself will be waterproof. For a bag to be 100% waterproof, the seams must be taped or welded as water can seep in through there.

Unfortunately the seams on our bags are not taped or welded. Our bags will be highly water resistant. Though if you worry about water damaging sensitive items, we suggest putting those items in a dry bag or even a ziploc for smaller items.
